The 21-year-old native of Winkler, Manitoba, is a decent all-around player, but is limited physically and in projectability. He definitely knows how to find the barrel and did just that at Southern Illinois, slashing .355/.463/.548 with six homers, 20 doubles and two triples in 60 games. He walked 46 times, striking out just 28 times, and impressed with his patience at the plate.
