As E! News reported at the time, Murray and Roemer got hitched in 2015 after dating for a year. The actors met on the set of Crackle series Chosen. "I'm a romantic. I'm a family guy. I want that core," the One Tree Hill alum gushed. The following May, the happy couple welcomed son Rex, followed by a daughter in 2017 (via Country Living).
Although all seemed well, Bush later gave a radio interview to Andy Cohen (via People), during which she quipped that marrying Murray "was not a thing I actually really wanted to do." The actress, who was just 22 at the time she married Murray, admitted she felt pressured to go ahead with the wedding. "How do you let everybody down? And how do you, what's the fight?" she argued. Murray described the story in a statement as "ludicrous," noting he "would never marry for any reason but love." The actor's rep also noted, "Thirteen years since his divorce from Sophia, he has a very happy family life with his wife and children." The rep noted, "He has completely moved on and doesn't feel the need to engage in this type of behavior."
Roemer herself hit back in a cheeky, since-deleted Instagram post, joking, "Wait a second... my producers also made me marry Chad Michael Murray!" Bush later claimed she was making a joke at her own expense. Regardless, Murray and Roemer remain unfazed.
