The Most Expensive Shoes In The World

Then again, there are the folks who need their shoes to stand out, be customized, and be so unique they are willing to pay an arm and a leg for a splashy pair. For those people, there are shoes whose price tag can run into the tens of thousands of dollars, like Testonis, which cost from $30,000 to $38,000; Stuart Weitzman's Platinum Gold Stilettos, which will set you back a cool $1.09 million; and Harry Winston's Ruby Slippers, which are "only" $3 million (via Money Inc).

But the title of World's Most Expensive Shoe goes to the Passion Diamond Shoes, which will set you back an eye-watering $17 million. The shoes are a joint creation by Jada Dubai (known for making shoes that can cost $25,000 a pair) and Passion Jewelers — both companies get to have their names on the insole. Money Inc says the Passion Diamond takes about nine months to make and are made with just four materials: gold patent leather, silk, gold, and 236 diamonds. Only rare diamonds are used on the shoes, because well, who wants common diamonds on these beauties?

Passon's CEO Hemant Karamchandani thinks there is a market for these shoes, but as of mid-2019, it's been a year since they were introduced and there hasn't been any interest in the shoes so far. So hey! Why spend all your extra dollars on a new house when you can splurge on a new pair of shoes?
