Roman Reigns & Becky Lynch Among The Favorites To Be Champions By End Of 2021

2020 is nearly in the books, and it's not too early to think about what will transpire in the WWE next year.

BetOnline released the odds of who will be the Universal, WWE, Raw Women's and SmackDown Women's title holders by the end of 2021.  Three of the current champions are the favorites to hold their respective titles.

Universal Champion Roman Reigns is listed as the -250 favorite to have the title belt by the end of next year. Reigns captured the championship at the Aug. 30 Payback pay-per-view, and he's held it ever since.

Big E, one of the favorites to win the 2021 men's Royal Rumble, has the second best odd at +400, followed by Seth Rollins at +500.

Drew McIntyre, who's in the midst of his second WWE Championship run, is unsurprisingly the favorite to hold the title at the end of 2021. McIntyre's odds are listed at +200.

Brock Lesnar, who dropped the title to McInytre at WrestleMania 36, is listed behind McIntyre at +300, followed by AJ Styles (+400) , "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt (+500) and Keith Lee (+600).

Sasha Banks, the current SmackDown Women's Champion, is a +150 favorite to have the title by the end of 2021. She is followed by Bianca Belair (+250) and former friend and tag team partner Bayley (+300).

Becky Lynch is on hiatus after giving birth to her and Rollins' first child. There's no timetable on her return, but Lynch is the +200 favorite to end next year as the Raw Women's Champion. Charlotte Flair has the second highest odds at +300, followed by current Raw Women's Champion Asuka and Alexa Bliss, who are both listed at +400.

Impossible To Predict The Future

At this time last year, few could have predicted that McIntyre would finish 2020 as the WWE Champion. But he quickly rose to main event status after winning the Royal Rumble, and the rest is history. It's really anybody's guess which superstars will receive major pushes, and who the new champions will be by this time next year. There are too many factors that come into play, after all.
