With all the speculation and no firm word from WWE on Kevin Owens' current physical state, the man himself recently appeared on WWE's After The Bell podcast and spoke to the concern. 'I guess I'm fine, I think,' Owens shared. 'It really changes by the day. You could ask me that question tomorrow and I'm feeling awful, but today I'm okay. I'll get out of my car and my back could be shot and I'm not aware until I start walking. The last few months have been interesting in that aspect. I'll wake up fine and by 2 o'clock, my knees don't work. It really hasn't started hitting me until recently, honestly. These weird aches and pains will come and go.'

As it pertains to his recent performances, Owens added some insight on how he was feeling having faced Jey Uso this past week on RAW. 'My back was really bothering me going into it already, and I've had knee issues the last few weeks. I went in feeling pretty beat up, but it worked out really good and I think everyone enjoyed the match, and so did I. It's nice to walk away from it all with people enjoying what you do' (h/t to Fightful for the quotes).

WWE are sure to be keeping a close eye on Kevin Owens' wellbeing in the coming weeks, especially as recent reports place Owens as a key player in the company's upcoming plans leading up to WrestleMania. As was last reported, Owens is said to be Roman Reigns' next challenger for the Royal Rumble event next month, with The Bloodline drama developing into a tag team match at WrestleMania, with The Usos facing a reunited Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Meanwhile, Owens has been caught in headlines away from his injuries in the wake of Survivor Series WarGames. An incident inside the steel structure is reported to have angered Roman Reigns, leading to some heated words between him and Owens after the match backstage. But, all signs point to this being a minor incident in the grand scheme of things, with the road to WrestleMania still intact as planned.
