On March 21, Katherine Kelly Lang made an appearance on CBS' "The Talk" to dish about her life on "The Bold and the Beautiful," as well as Brooke's past and future. However, she was a bit shocked when the show suddenly played her screen test for the soap, something she claimed she'd never seen before. In the screen test, Lang's Brooke is with John McCook's Eric Forrester as they reminisce about when they first started dating. As longtime fans of "The Bold and the Beautiful" may know, McCook is the only other star besides Lang to have been with the show since the very start. After the brief one-minute clip aired, Lang offered her thoughts on that day so many years ago.
"I have to say I credit John McCook for getting me that part," she said on the show. "Honestly, I was so lucky to be able to do that screen test with him. He made me so comfortable and confident and I just rocked it and got the part because of him." Lang also paid tribute to McCook in a March Instagram post, in which she thanked the star for helping her land the role of a lifetime. "I still give you so much credit that day that I was hired. If I didn't do the screen test with you, I may not have been there at all," she wrote.
