Want to own a cop car in GTA Online? Why wouldn't you?! It's been over ten years since Rockstar Games launched the fifth entry into their famed Grand Theft Auto series—and it's safe to say it's been a total hit. But that's not to say the devs aren't privy to surprises!
The latest "The Chop Shop" DLC update on 12 December 2023 introduced several new vehicles in GTA Online, including three police cars. That said, the burning question among players is how they can get their nubby little hands on one! That's where we come.
How To Get Cop Vehicles In GTA Online
As it turns out, you can purchase three cop cars in GTA Online at the Warstock Cache and Carry dealership. However, you'll need to complete a few requirements before the vehicles will be available for purchase.
The table below details each police vehicle price and unlock requirement after the GTA Online "The Chop Shop" DLC update:
| Vehicle | Price | Dealer | Unlock Requirement |
| Unmarked Polic Car | $2,962,000 - $3,950,000 | Warstock Cache and Carry | Survive a 3-star Wanted Level or above for 5 mins |
| Stanier | $3,517,000 - $4,690,000 | Warstock Cache and Carry | Scope out Mission Row as part of Gangbanger Robbery |
| Police Riot Truck | $3,600,000 - $4,800,000 | Warstock Cache and Carry | Lose a 4- or 5-star Wanted Level, naturally |
Police SUV
Think we're done? Think again. You can also pick up the Vapid Aleutian SUV from Legendary Motorsport for only $1,835,000—you can also customize the vehicle with Imani Tech upgrades at an Agency Workshop. The in-game description reads:
With the cartels and the FIB both purchasing in bulk, the Vapid Aleutian has been the poster child of the war on drugs every sinc eit rolled off the production line. That's the kind of reliable consumer base that'll put the American car industry back on the map, and with optional Armor Plating, Slick Mines, a Remote Control Unit, and Missle Lock-On Jammer, this is a revival you're going to want to be part of.
And that's everything you need to know about how to get a cop car in GTA Online. Pretty simple, right? And don't forget, Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to release in 2025, giving you even more awesome content to look forward to!
Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond, in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet. Coming 2025 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
