Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano, will be reprising their roles on the reboot as Tony and Samantha. Variety noted that Judith Light and Danny Pintauro, who played Angela and her son, Jonathan (per IMDb) are not currently attached to the project although that may change in the future. Katherine Helmond, who played Angela's mother, Mona, passed away in 2019 (per The Hollywood Reporter).
Danza and Milano both expressed their excitement at the news of the reboot on social media. "Very excited to bring Who's The Boss back to television!" wrote Danza on Instagram. Milano also posted the news on Instagram. "I've wanted to share this for so long and now I can!" she wrote. "We feel the time is right to tell the story of where these amazing characters are today. Can't wait to share their stories with you. So happy."
A premiere date for the Who's the Boss reboot has not yet been announced.
