Just over three months after her death, Julien's Auctions has spoken to The New York Post on the event that will allow people to bid on some of Betty White's memorabilia, art, jewelry, and more. "This is an auction representing an incredible life and career. It's a lifestyle auction. All these items came from her home in Brentwood or her residence in Carmel in northern California, where she lived with her husband Allen Ludden," shared executive director, Martin Nolan.
Some of the items include a replica of White's Hollywood Walk of Fame star, her American Comedy Award, a card from a time she earned an Emmy Awards nomination, and a signed copy of the last script of "The Golden Girls." In addition, there are pieces of artwork that feature animals and that were created by animals like Koko, a gorilla. Another special piece is a watch that White's mother gave to her in 1940.
Overall, Martin Nolan of Julien's Auctions says the value of the property is around $1 million to $2 million. And all of it — which, as stated on the company's website, includes more than 1,500 items — will be part of an auction happening from September 23 to 25.
