For example, for user group A, a form view might have panels with a blue background in the header and for user group B, those same panel headers might have a green background as shown in the following image:

Before you begin
Before you customize the skins and brand for the AR System applications, make sure you have the appropriate permissions to make these changes.
To configure skins for AR System applications
- Log in to Mid Tier.
From the AR System Administration Console, select System > Application > Users / Groups / Roles > Groups.
Use the Group form to create the group to grant access for configuring AR System.
For example, you create a group called AR System Skin Administrator whose members can modify the skin and brand for applications. For more information about creating a group, see Creating and managing access control groups.
To map the Skin Designer role to an existing group
- Log in to Mid Tier.
From the AR System Administration Console, select System > Application > Users / Groups / Roles > Groups.
- Open the Roles form in New mode
- Create a new role for the following applications:
- AR System Administration
- AR System Skins
For each application, enter the following details:

If the Skin Designer role is already defined for the applications, modify the role to add group information by performing the following steps:
- Open the Roles form in Search Mode
- Modify the group information.

When you map the role to the AR System Administrator group, all the users of the group can access the AR System Skin Administration console. In a browser, the user can access the skin administration console by selecting AR System Administration > AR System Skin Administration.
