Angela S. Martin, MD FACOG

Professional Background

Dr. Martin joined the University of Kansas faculty in 2016 after completion of her MFM fellowship and residency at Emory University. Dr. Martin has authored many articles published and accepted in refereed medical publications on topics including Influenza infection during pregnancy, maternal and fetal risk associated with assisted reproductive technology, Hepatitis B in pregnancy, pregnancy and obesity, cell-free fetal DNA, preterm birth, and fetal Dopplers.

Dr. Martin is the medical director or labor and delivery. She serves on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at the University of Kansas and has served on the Nominating committee in the past. She is the director of the ultrasound training for the residency program. Dr. Martin has won many honors and awards, a few of them include Emory University outstanding research proposal by
a fellow; Excellence in Teaching Award; and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology National Faculty Award.
