10 Survivor Series Teams Who Did The Worst

Since 1987, WWE has presented Survivor Series, which has become their second-longest-running event behind WrestleMania. It features elimination-style tag team matches which are designed for teams to vie for the chance to become the sole survivors to achieve victory. While wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, and Triple H have done very well at Survivor Series over the years, there are other wrestlers who are not so lucky and hold records at the event for a different reason.

Sometimes Survivor Series teams are so dominant that their opponents are not able to get a single elimination in the match. These teams are known for being "clean-swept" by their opponents and have gone down in history as teams that have done the worst at the event. While logic says that these teams would consist of lower-card wrestlers, it will be surprising for many fans who are a part of these teams.

10 Col. Mustafa, The Berserker, Skinner, and Hercules

With General Adnan and Mr. Fuji at ringside, this group had the numbers and size advantage over their opponents but were not able to score a single elimination at the 1991 Survivor Series.

Against the team of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Sgt. Slaughter, The Texas Tornado, and Tito Santana, it was hardly a contest. With Slaughter gaining two of the pinfalls - including over Col. Mustafa who he was allied with only months earlier - the group easily dispatched of their opponents, making history in the progress.

9 The Big Bossman, Albert, Mideon, and Viscera

Prior to the 1999 Survivor Series, The Big Show was meant to team alongside Funaki, Taka Michinoku, and The Blue Meanie, but wound up taking them out himself prior to the match. Ultimately, that did not matter as The Big Show made quick work of the opposite team ej route to winning the contest on his own.

The Big Show dispatched three of his opponents in less than a minute, and then The Boss Man cowered away from the giant, giving him the victory. All the more impressive is that Big Show also won his first WWE Championship in the main event that same evening.

8 Clowns R' Us

WWE has never shied away from using little people in their programming, usually in a way that pokes fun of the performers themselves. Unfortunately, the 1994 Survivor Series was no different, as Doink helmed a team of clowns against Jerry Lawler's "Royal Family."

While Lawler's team did win the match with a clean sweep over the creepy clowns, no one involved in this match should be declared a winner. The match itself was farcical and not a good show for any wrestler involved, and frequently lands on many of "the worst ever" lists in wrestling journalism.

7 Team Paige

At the beginning of the Women's Revolution, it was great to see more female wrestlers getting an opportunity inside of the ring to work at a higher level. While today, fans are used to seeing high-quality matches involving Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, this was not the norm for many years. Unfortunately, not every match during The Revolution was a success.

When Team Natalya took on Team Paige, it looked like it would be a competitive match, however, it wound up being very one-sided. Paige's team was easily dispatched through submissions and pinfalls, leaving many fans to wonder what would happen next with Paige.

6 The Royals

Undertaker chokeslams HHH at Survivor Series 1995

It is difficult to think that a team including Triple H and Kane would be considered one of the worst after being clean swept at the 1995 Survivor Series, but that certainly was the case. Despite being future World Champions, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Isaac Yankem, DDS were not in a good position earlier in their careers.

Getting swept cleanly by The Darkside - consisting of The Undertaker, Fatu, Savio Vega, and Henry Godwinn - is not something many people have on their resume, but it was a reality for them. While not something that will be broadcast during either man's Hall of Fame induction, it is something that cannot be erased from the history books.

5 The Vipers

A team consisting of The Rockers, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka has no business being on that list, except for the fact that they floundered during the 1990 Survivor Series. Unfortunately, not a single man on the team was able to find their footing and were doomed from the start after Jannetty was eliminated in only five minutes.

To make matters even worse, as Roberts was the final man on the team standing, he was counted out instead of being defeated. With the final result adding insult to injury, this team has the distinction of being a huge black mark on the record for all men involved.

4 Team Rated-RKO

During 2006, it became clear that WWE Management was intent on pushing the revived D-Generation X at every instance possible. This was never more evident than during the 2006 Survivor Series when the aging comedy act's team swiftly defeated an entire team of hot talents instead of making things a compelling match.

While The Hardys and CM Punk benefited from teaming with DX at the time, the match did nothing to benefit Randy Orton, Edge, Gregory Helms, Johnny Nitro, and Mike Knox who were made to look like fools after losing so quickly. Had WWE taken a different route, this match could have been much more impactful.

3 Bam Bam Bigelow, Bastion Booger, Samu and Fatu

One creepy clown in a wrestling match is bad enough, but adding in multiple wrestlers in clown makeup is a whole other problem. Unfortunately for this team, it is a problem which turned in to a very embarrassing Survivor Series moment for them, as they wound up getting swept by a team full of clowns in 1993.

Bam Bam Bigelow's team thought that they were facing four Doink the Clowns, but wound up against The Bushwhackers and Men on a Mission all dressed in clown makeup, which were more formidable opponents than he had planned for. With numerous gags in the match - including balloons and confetti - the Doinks were able to take home the win, and steal Bigelow's pride at the same time.

2 The Million Dollar Team

While The Million Dollar Team did not do badly on paper and wound up taking down many members of the opposing team led by Hulk Hogan, they are on this list for a different reason. While the team looked like they could easily defeat Hogan's group, they struggled internally and wound up imploding on themselves.

Zeus was quickly taken out of the match after getting disqualified only three minutes in for shoving a referee, and both The Warlord and The Barbarian were also disqualified for double teaming Hulk Hogan. Given how poorly the team functioned, it is evident that Ted DiBiase could not buy everything with his money, including a win over Hogan's group.

1 The Bushwackers & The Rockers

Despite starting out well, the team consisting of two established tag teams in WWE was not able to pull out a win. In fact, they struggled to eliminate two out-of-shape tag teams at the 1991 Survivor Series, and almost got cleanly swept.

Other than Shawn Michaels' sole elimination of one of the Beverly Brothers, this team would have ended up on the wrong side of history. Ultimately, it was matches like this which led to the infamous Rockers split, as it was evident to Michaels that Jannetty was holding him down.
